Structure

Subject + has / have + past participle

Or 

 S + has / have + V(3)

For instance

1   My husband   has brought     me a beautiful gold ring . 








2 I have climbed on the mountain 🏔️.

5  We have planted some plants in our

 garden.






Negative Sentences

Subject  + has/ have ( not) + past participle

Examples

I have not climbed on the mountain.

She has not bought me any gift 🎁.

Interrogative Sentences

Has / have + subject + past participle? 

Examples

Have they played tennis 🎾?

Has She bought me any gift?

Use of has and have

Has. :. He , she , it and singular

Have : I , we , they , you and plurals 

Uses Of Present Perfect Tense

 It is used to indicate completed activities in the immediate past using just

For instance 

1 I have just completed my task.

2 They have just reached home 🏘️.

  It is used to express Past actions whose time is not given

For instance 

1  I have found a job.

2  Have you read the novel 'Great Expectations'  by Charles Dickens?

 To describe past events when we think more of their effect in the present then Of the action itself.

For instance

1. I have finished my homework. ( = now I am free)

2. It has stopped raining.

It is used to denote an action at some time in the past and continuing upto present moment.

For instance

1  We have read in this school for five years.

2. She has lived in this house for ten years.


It is used to indicate actions completed in past may occur again.

For instance

1  My friend has written many articles.

2 I have seen  Taj Mahal.


It is used to tell about the action occuring in an incomplete period.

For instance

1 Has the doctor come yet?

2 My friends have not seen yet.

It is used for habitual actions.

For instance

1 He has always helped me during my study.

2. I have always  answered her phone calls.

 It is often used in newspaper and broadcast to introduce Past actions.

For instance

1  Two students have been killed on a car accident. 

2.  One lac rupees' has been stolen from a garments shop. The thieves broke into the shop.
